Three directions for 22 Electrical Works

Same brand, same real photos, same information. Three different ways of presenting it. Open each one, have a look on your phone as well as your computer, and tell us which one feels most like the business.

Note: these are concept pages. The content uses your real services, reviews, team and job photos, but the enquiry forms are demos and do not send anything yet. Nothing is indexed by Google.

SEO & AI Search Check

Checked www.22electricalworks.com.au on 3 August 2026

Before any of the concepts existed I ran your current website through the same check I run on every Scalus site. It scored 67 out of 100 for how ready it is for Google, and 42 out of 100 for how ready it is for AI search.

That second number is the one worth talking about. It is not a measure of how the site looks. It is whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI overviews can read the site, work out that 22 Electrical Works is a licensed electrician in Croydon Hills, and quote you when somebody asks them who to call. At 42 out of 100 the answer today is mostly no.

In total 11 items came back needing attention. They are listed below in the order I would fix them, and every one of them is included in a Scalus build.

What I would fix

11 items
  1. Missing

    Structured data

This is the big one. There is no structured data on the site at all, so nothing on the page tells a machine that you are a business, what you do, where you are or that you are licensed. It is the single largest reason AI search cannot quote you.

What I would do: add the full structured data stack for the business, your services, your service area and your reviews.

  2. Missing

    AI crawlers are not welcomed

Six of the crawlers that feed ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI overviews are not named anywhere in your robots file. They are not blocked, but they are not invited either, and the ones that check first assume nothing.

What I would do: add an explicit allow block for every one of the 2026 AI crawlers.

  3. Broken

    285 HTML errors

The page has 285 markup errors. Browsers paper over most of it, but crawlers and answer engines are far less forgiving, and a parser that gives up halfway reads only half your business.

What I would do: build the page clean so it validates with zero errors.

  4. Weak

    Your page title

The title is 17 characters and reads "22electricalworks". That is the line Google shows as your headline in the results, so right now it says nothing about electrical work, Croydon Hills or the eastern suburbs.

What I would do: rewrite it to roughly 60 characters, led by what you do and where.

  5. Missing

    Link previews are blank

There is no share image and no share URL set. Every time you or a customer sends your website in a text, a WhatsApp message or a Facebook post, it turns up as a bare grey link with no picture.

What I would do: add a proper share image and the supporting tags so a shared link shows your work.

  6. Missing

    Twitter card

The matching tag for X and a few other apps is absent, so previews there fall back to plain text as well.

What I would do: add the card tag alongside the share image.

  7. Weak

    Snippet directives

The tags that tell Google it may show your photos large and quote more of your text are missing, so your listing is smaller than it needs to be.

What I would do: add the full set so your result can show a large image and a longer snippet.

  8. Missing

    Sitemap is not declared

Your robots file never points at your sitemap, so search engines have to find your pages by following links rather than being handed the list.

What I would do: declare the sitemap in the robots file.

  9. Weak

    No last modified dates

The sitemap carries no dates, so when you change something there is no signal telling Google to come back and look again.

What I would do: stamp every page with a real last modified date and bump it on every change.

  10. Weak

    llms.txt has no FAQ

The file AI models read to understand a business in its own words has no question and answer section, which is the part they actually lift from.

What I would do: write a direct question and answer section covering what you do, where you go and how you quote.

  11. Weak

    Security headers

Five standard security headers are missing. Not a ranking issue, but it is the sort of thing that gets a site flagged.

What I would do: add the standard security headers.

Checked on 3 August 2026 with the same free checker at scalus.app/seo-geo-checker. Scores move as a site changes, so this is a snapshot of that day, not a permanent grade.
