Cosmetic dentistry in Ringwood

Whitening, veneers and smile makeovers designed around your face, not a template.

★★★★★ 5.0 from 154 Google reviews · Ringwood

Good cosmetic dentistry does not announce itself. When it is done well, people notice that you look rested and well, and they cannot tell you why.

That means designing a smile around your own face, your age and the way you actually speak and laugh, rather than fitting everyone with the same bright white rectangles. We will always show you the plan before any permanent work begins.

Treatments we offer

  • Professional teeth whitening, in the chair and take home
  • Porcelain veneers for shape, colour and alignment
  • Composite bonding to repair chips and close small gaps
  • Tooth coloured fillings to replace old dark amalgam
  • Crowns that match the surrounding teeth exactly
  • Full smile makeovers combining several treatments in one plan

How a smile makeover works

  1. 1
    Consultation

We talk about what specifically bothers you. Often it is one tooth rather than the whole smile, and the fix is far smaller than people expect.

  2. 2
    Design

Photographs and measurements, then a proposed design you can see and react to before anything is touched.

  3. 3
    Preparation

Only where it is genuinely needed. We are conservative with healthy tooth structure because you cannot put it back.

  4. 4
    Fit and refine

We fit, we check it in daylight and in a mirror you can hold, and we adjust until you are happy.

Common questions

Cosmetic Dentistry questions

Will veneers look fake?

Not if they are designed properly. Natural teeth are not uniform, they are slightly translucent at the edge and no two are identical. Good veneers copy that. The fake look comes from picking a shade whiter than anything in nature.

How long do veneers last?

Porcelain veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years or more with good care. Composite bonding is less expensive and more easily repaired, but generally needs refreshing sooner.

Does health insurance cover cosmetic work?

Usually only partially, because most cosmetic treatment sits outside the general dental category. We will tell you what is likely to be claimable before you commit.

Can you fix just one tooth?

Very often, yes. Matching a single tooth is technically the hardest thing in cosmetic dentistry, but it is also the most common request and we do it regularly.
