Painting, inside and out
Walls, ceilings, trims and more. Interior and exterior, prepared properly so it lasts rather than looking good for one season.
Property maintenance and repair across Eltham and surrounds. Decking, timber repairs, interior and exterior painting, pre sale revamps and the small fixes that have been on the list for months.
Most people call me for one job and then keep calling. These are the things I get asked for most, all in my own words rather than a list somebody wrote for me.
Walls, ceilings, trims and more. Interior and exterior, prepared properly so it lasts rather than looking good for one season.
Rotten wood replacement, restoration and strengthening. If a post, a sill or a step has gone soft, it gets cut out and rebuilt rather than painted over.
Revive, repair and protect your timber. Sanding back, replacing what has failed, then oiling so the deck looks like the day it went down.
Sanding, filling, priming and high quality finishes. The part nobody sees, and the reason the part everybody sees holds up.
Getting a house ready to go on the market. The tidy up, the touch ups and the repairs that change what a buyer sees when they walk in.
Deckings, screens, fences and internal timber work, built on site and built square.
Stepping stone paving, paths and retaining walls. The outside of a place matters as much as the inside.
Pressure cleaning and gutter cleaning, the two jobs that quietly cause the most damage when they get left too long.
Ongoing garden work for people who would rather have one person who knows the property than a new face every time.
These are all Ryan's own photographs of his own work. Nothing here is a stock image and nothing has been borrowed from another business.

Captions describe what is in each photo. They are not the original social media captions, because matching a caption to the right photo from the outside is guesswork and I would rather be accurate.
No sales visit, no drawn out process. Most jobs are booked in one conversation and one visit.
A call, a message or a few photos. Photos are usually enough for me to tell you roughly what is involved before anybody drives anywhere.
Timber especially. What looks like a paint job is often a repair, and it is better to find that before the quote than after the invoice.
A clear price for the actual job. If I find something underneath once I start, you hear about it before I touch it.
RB Maintenance is Ryan. Not a call centre, not a franchise, and not a different subcontractor every visit. You get the person who quoted the job doing the job.
He has been registered and working under his own name since December 2014, which is where the ten years plus comes from. The work has moved from gardens and mowing into painting, timber and full property maintenance, and decking is where most of it sits now.
Fully insured, with a police check and a working with children check, which matters more than people expect when the job is at a school, a childcare centre or a family home.

This is a concept built for Ryan to look at, so it is honest about which parts are real and which are still waiting on him.
Eltham and surrounds. If you are close by and not sure whether you are in the patch, ask. It is usually a yes.
No. That is one of Ryan's own rules. A single rotten step or one door that will not close is a perfectly normal call.
Yes, and that is the point. Timber repairs and painting usually turn up together, so having one person do both means the repair gets prepared properly before it gets a coat on it.
Yes. Ryan lists fully insured, a police check and a working with children check on his own material. Ask him for the current certificates and he will send them through.
Yes, pre sale revamps are a regular job. It is usually painting, timber repairs, decking and a general tidy up, aimed at what a buyer notices in the first ten seconds.
Call, or send a few photos. Photos alone are often enough for a rough figure, and anything involving timber gets looked at in person before a firm number.
A few photos and a sentence is genuinely enough to start. You will get a straight answer about what is involved, not a sales call.
