Local. Friendly. Reliable.
Painting, timber repairs and decking, done with high attention to detail and over ten years of experience. One person who knows your property, rather than a different face every visit.
Proudly local, committed to quality.RYAN’S OWN WORDS, FROM HIS FLYER
What Ryan actually gets called for.
Taken straight from his own flyer and his own posts, in the order people ask for them.
Interior and exterior painting
Walls, ceilings, trims and more, prepared properly before a brush goes anywhere near them.
Timber repairs
Rotten wood replacement, restoration and strengthening, so the problem is fixed rather than covered.
Prep work and finishing
Sanding, filling, priming and high quality finishes. The unglamorous half that decides how long the job lasts.
Decking and timber touch ups
Revive, repair and protect your timber. Most of the photographs further down this page are decks.
Pre sale revamps and renovations
Getting a place ready to go on the market, aimed squarely at what a buyer notices first.
Timber works and construction
Deckings, screens, fences and internal timber work, built on site and built square.
General landscaping
Stepping stone paving, paths and retaining walls.
Pressure cleaning and gutter cleaning
The two jobs that quietly cause the most damage when they get left too long.
General gardening
Ongoing garden work for people who would rather keep one person who knows the place.
Ryan’s own photographs, of Ryan’s own jobs.
Not a single stock photo. Every image here came off his Facebook or Instagram, where he has been quietly posting the work for years.

Captions describe what is in the photograph. They are not the original social media captions, because pairing a caption to the right photo from the outside is guesswork.
Three steps, no sales visit.
Send a photo
A couple of pictures and a sentence about what is bothering you is genuinely enough to get a useful answer back.
Ryan takes a proper look
Especially with timber. What looks like a paint job is often a repair, and it is better to know before the quote than after.
A price, then the work
A clear price for the job in front of him. If something turns up underneath, you hear about it before he touches it.
One tradesperson, one property at a time.
RB Maintenance is Ryan, working under his own name since December 2014. That is where the ten years plus on his flyer comes from.
The work started in gardens and mowing and has moved into painting, timber and full property maintenance. Decking is where most of it sits now, which is why the gallery looks the way it does.
He is fully insured and carries a police check and a working with children check, which matters more than people expect when the job is at a school, a childcare centre or a family home.

Worth knowing about this page
A concept built for Ryan to look at, so it is straight about what is real and what is still waiting on him.
REAL, AND CHECKABLE
- The colours come from Ryan’s own printed flyer, sampled rather than guessed
- The script wordmark in the header is lifted from that same flyer
- Every photograph is his own work
- Every service line uses his own wording
- Trading since December 2014, from the national business register
DELIBERATELY LEFT BLANK
- No reviews, because none are published anywhere yet
- No prices, because none are published
- No job counts, warranties or completion statistics
- No team, because he works on his own
- The form and the chat do not send anywhere yet
The ones that come up first.
Which suburbs do you cover?
Eltham and surrounds. If you are nearby and not sure, ask. It is usually a yes.
Is any job too small?
No. That is one of Ryan’s own rules. One rotten step or one sticking door is a perfectly normal call.
Can you repair the timber and paint it?
Yes, and that is rather the point. Timber repairs and painting almost always turn up together, so one person doing both means the repair is prepared properly before it is painted.
Are you insured?
Yes. Fully insured, with a police check and a working with children check. Ask for the current certificates and he will send them through.
Do you help with getting a house ready to sell?
Yes. Pre sale revamps are a regular job: painting, timber repairs, decking and a tidy up, aimed at what a buyer notices first.
How do I get a price?
Call, or send photos. Photos are often enough for a rough figure, and timber gets looked at in person before a firm number.
Tell Ryan what needs doing.
A sentence and a couple of photos is plenty. You will get a real answer about what is involved.
