Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
No — please don't wash for at least 48 hours prior, so we can properly assess your scalp before the cleansing treatment.
Can males have a head spa?
Absolutely — everyone can. Even for bald clients we have products perfectly suited to your scalp.
Can I book a couples or group head spa?
Yes! We offer head spas and group packages for up to 4 people — simply book under Group Bookings.
Is hair drying included?
You can add a professional blow-dry with a senior therapist, or use the Dyson dryers in every private suite at your convenience.
What age do I need to be to receive a head spa treatment?
A range of our services suit most ages. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Can I get a head spa if I'm pregnant?
It's discouraged in the third trimester (28+ weeks), as you lie flat for 60+ minutes. Please consult your GP first.
Is it safe to have a head spa after colouring, perm or keratin straightening?
Post-colour is fine — book two weeks before or after colour, and wait two weeks after chemical straightening or perming.
Is the head spa suitable for someone with scalp psoriasis?
Yes — our Oway range is specifically designed to help combat psoriasis and other scalp conditions.
Can I have a head spa with hair extensions installed?
Please come between pull-ups to avoid damage. Extensions may limit the full massage and use of all scalp tools.
Does Soak Haus offer gift cards?
Yes — e-vouchers online, or physical vouchers in studio.
How do I redeem a gift card when booking?
Enter your voucher details at checkout. A card is saved for security but won't be charged if voucher details are entered.
